Omakase! Omakase translates to “leave it to the chef” which typically is multiple courses served with meticulous timing as well as escalating in flavor. At Kengo Sushi and Yakitori you can get just that. A quaint restaurant snug into Toledo, Ohio with the most amazing atmosphere ran by Chef Kengo Kato and Chef Josh Wagy. Diners are welcome to have a table and order off of their daily menu and daily drink list. But, if you really want to have the full experience you are encouraged to make a reservation in advance for their omakase dinner. The average reservation wait list is about a week to two weeks. Also, remember that you can not rush this experience. Kengo, Josh and their team require two hours to fulfill your dreams throughout their 12 course adventure. You can expect everything from plates of the freshest raw seafood to an array of different meats and vegetables fresh off the yakitori grill. All of which can be paired with any one of the high end Japanese whiskeys, sake and draft poured craft beers. Make it into Kengo Sushi & Yakitori and give a big hello to Chef Kengo and Chef Josh!
